Featured Projects

Condominium Building: Northwest Suburbs

Performed an asbestos building inspection of 120,000 sq. ft. for a fire burned condominium. In addition, to the testing Bower was hired to perform contractor selection and project oversight for the abatement process. Due to the extreme circumstances, Bower Group was able to provide immediate pricing and abatement services for the project. Bower Group worked closely with the EPA to ensure proper cleanup of the building. The project was completed ahead of schedule and was completed under budget for the client.

Commercial Building: North Suburb, IL

Bower Group was contracted to help in the investigation of a building explosion that had detrimental effects. Working closely with the EPA and OSHA, Bower Group provided OSHA air monitoring for the duration of the investigation and supplied competent asbestos supervisors for helping with the debris/evidence search.

Five Commercial Buildings: Elk Grove Village, IL

Bower Group was responsible for performing the hazardous materials survey and reporting for five commercial buildings totaling 568,000 square feet that were going to be demolished for a highway relocation project.

Commercial Building: Downers Grove, IL

Bower Group was hired to perform asbestos, lead and mold testing for a large loss insurance project. The effected building had a pipe burst that effected all three floors of the building. Bower Group helped identify the environmental hazard to reduce the liability for owner and restoration contractor working on the project.
