Tornado Damage: Chicagoland Area

Estimated Repair Value $1.5 million

A Tornado caused extensive damage to a 21-unit apartment building. The flat roof was torn off, causing heavy water damage to the interior of the building. The building was deemed uninhabitable. Bower collaborated with an engineer and a public adjuster to determine the extent of needed repairs and a cost analysis for the repairs.

Wind/Hail Damage: Shreveport, LA

Estimated Repair Value $5.2 million

Wind and hail caused damage to 9 separate commercial buildings. The buildings ranged from restaurants to strip malls. Bower was engaged to determine the extent of the damage, the cost of repairs or replacement and to what extent were the roofs damaged by a covered loss versus what was preexisting.

Fire Damage: Indianapolis, IN

Estimated Repair Value $1.7 million

Fire caused extensive damage to a 12-unit apartment complex. All the units in the building were damaged to the point where only the structural framing wouldn’t require replacement. Within 60 days of the loss Bower had completed and agreed to an initial scope and cost with the contractor.

Fire Damage: Anderson, IN

Estimated Repair Value $700K

Fire severely damaged a control tower at a rock and sand quarry halting operations to a portion of the facility. Temporary power was deployed to ensure that production could continue on a smaller scale until permanent repairs could be made. Bower worked with machine experts to determine the cost of rebuilding the control tower to facilitate full production as soon as possible.
